BELVAL is an owner-run ski chalet company, operating for the seventh year, two of the most luxurious chalets in VAL D'ISERE France. We are ski-in, ski-out. We have hammam, wi-fi, large screen home cinema, whole house stereo, extraordinary view over Val d'Isere, etc…
We are looking for outgoing, hard working candidates. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and at least one of you must be chef trained or cook to a high standard. Experience of working in a ski resort or similar environment is a benefit.
Position:
- The role will require a great attitude whilst running the two Chalets. You will be organising the work of the four people, including the two of your couple, plus two other hostesses. This includes: cooking, serving, cleaning, shopping, organising lift passes, equipment hire, solving guests problems........
- Dinner is one option in our offer to our guests. You will be in charge of the preparation of, and in serving, a full cooked three course dinner ( about 40 to 50 dinners during the season), of supervising the preparation of english and continental breakfast (all weeks), and afternoon tea. Cleaning of bedrooms and communal areas is ongoing.
- You will be asked to undertake the chalet food shopping & accounting for chalet expenditure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required. So Helpful, enthusiastic and confident applicants is what we are looking for. You will report directly to the company Manager.
- Full training will be given in resort - contract starts at the beginning of December 2010 through to the beginning of May 2011.
